Our Process, Step By Step

To plan and execute a successful webcast, we'll guide you through these steps:

  1. Audience definition. To assure capacity, we need to estimate the size of your audience. This is especially important for live events. Hosting fees vary according to audience size, from 5 viewers to 50,000.

  2. Planning. We'll discuss strategy and consult with you to focus your message, script the action, dialog and visuals, plan camera and lights, backdrops, dress and makeup, transitions, props, the opening, the closing, and more.

  3. [Camera] Live vs. recorded — or both — you decide.
    Like TV, an event may be webcast live, or recorded for later "on-demand" viewing from a web site. Live events have an immediacy and realism that magnifies their impact. By their nature, however, live events cannot be edited — the broadcast is raw, flubs and all. Recorded events can be improved by deleting or re-recording the bad parts, inter-cutting scenes, and by adding graphics, music, text, etc. Your event may be webcast live (conference call style, for example), or it may be recorded and edited for later viewing ("on-demand"), or both. Webcasting live increases equipment requirements, raising costs; editing improves quality and control but may add cost and delay.

  4. Viewer ID. You may wish participants to register when they tune in to view the webcast, allowing you to gather information about them for later statistical evaluation or marketing follow-up. Understanding your goals will help us to fashion the registration process to capture participant information you can use, such as contact information or demographic details.

  5. Web presence. We establish a link from your web page (or e-mailing) or create a basic web page for you, which may include references to supporting documents, images, or web sites. We'll also add a link to your e-mail address, allowing viewers an immediate, convenient, and trackable response mechanism. For private events, we'll include password protection to control access.

  6. Before the shoot. We survey the location to evaluate camera, lighting, and sound requirements in detail. [Movie Camera]

  7. Day of the shoot. We arrive in advance to setup camera(s), microphone(s), lights, etc. We capture the action — audio and video — direct to digital to assure highest quality. Live events are transmitted directly via the Internet using streaming video servers, allowing participants to view real-time. Recorded events are edited and archived for "on-demand" viewing from your website.

  8. Strategic follow-up. We'll create a report for you listing information provided by each viewer, allowing marketing follow-up and demographic analysis.

  9. Available On-Demand 24x7. We host the webcast and web page, storing it for easy Internet access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by your audience throughout the world. Hosting is available at a small monthly fee.
